All Hallows Eve - £60

With Edwin Courtenay

October the 31st - All Hallows Eve or Halloween as it is more popularly known - is a powerful time for many, many reasons!

Seen by the ancient Celts and modern pagan people as Samhain - new years eve to the followers of the old ways - it is traditionally a time when the veil between this world and the world of spirit is thin. A time when the energy of the old year gives way to the new, a day on which feasts are laid in memory of those who have gone before and doorways opened between the realms so that the living might commune with the dead.

On this day protective gargoyles - pumpkin lanterns - are created in order to protect hearth and home from those other forces that draw close to the earth plane. On this day powerful magic for the self, others and the world is cast.

But this is not the only reason for this days power, for it proceeds a day of special honouring to all the Saints - known and unknown - who have lived and died in service to the divine, beings that we might now call Ascended Masters. Enlightened ones who linger still in spirit guiding and steering mankind towards Ascension.

On this one day workshop - in preparation and celebration of Halloween - we will explore the reality behind the folk lore and myth of this day and learn new rituals and ceremonies of celebration and magic that we can perform alone or with our family and like minded friends.

We will open ourselves to the hastening presences of the spirit world, receiving from them guidance and gifts to help us embrace the new year that waits and learn more of the energy that is to come.

This experiential celebration prepares all those who might come for the year that lies ahead, arming them with magic and wisdom from the realms of light and love.
