The Queen Of Elphame

The Queen of Elphame is - in the folklore belief of Lowland Scotland and Northern England - the elfin queen of the otherworld, mentioned frequently by those tried for witchcraft during the Scottish witch trials.

Seen as being equivalent to the Queen of Fairies the Queen of Elphame is the ruler of the eleven folk, a powerful and ancient elemental race rarely spoken of in the 'new age'.

In this one day workshop Edwin Courtenay - clairvoyant and cunning man - will guide those present of a journey of exploration and discovery, helping to filter hysterical fiction from fact so that we might uncover the true Queen of Elphame and her relationship to those women (and men) of power once known as witches.

Through meditations, exercises and channellings Edwin will reveal the nature of the Elvern kingdom, exploring the tribes and castes there of the light, silvern and dark elves and the powers and mysteries they guard as well as uncovering the source of their power - the Silver Tree!

This magical workshop practically explores how to connect to the Elvern Folk, how to work with their magic - for the self, others and the world - and how to call upon their ancient knowledge and power - as we once did in olden days - to both amplify and set our own magic free.
